I thought I might like a slight change of pace and decided to try cooking or something.
Besides, I think it'd be best if guys were good at cooking too, and so with that I tried digging through some cookbooks a bit.
Well, I don't have anything but an Italian cookbook with pasta and stuff though.
And because of that I looked through something called "Tommorrow's pasta too!" and trying to make "potato gnocchi".
I made it with the quantities outlined in the book and ended up somehow or other with this humongous amount of gnocchis (snicker).
I subconsciously remembered the "Put it in water and it magically expands to earth-staggering proportions alien toy" from long ago (snicker).

Well there wasn't anything to it but to greedily snarf it all, only it was a butter/olive oil/cheese sauce so it was just too much and I couldn't finish it off. Alas.

If anyone knows of any really good pasta or whatever sauce, please let me know.

ZOMG! The expanding alien things. That reminds me...I wonder what happened to mine...
I think I threw it at the monster in the basement one day and left it there*lol*
May the people who bought our house find it and use it well.
Or, even better yet, my it develop sentience, dunk itself in water, and chase after them in its earth-shattering glory. Kamisama yo~

Anyhow I agree; in most of the Japanese anime and household I've seen the girls always did the cooking no matter what, even if they had been working all day.

I personally don't like making make anything but miso soup myself though so I can't offer any suggestions....calories and stuff. It's probably a mental illness~~~
So anyway, if anyone else has any suggestions, ne?

This week I decided to embark on a new learning experience too. I decided that Glenn Spreen shouldn't be the only one who can play the flute and comandeered my brother's.
The flute's fun. I'll tease him for having played it later.
I might go back to the violin too.......>_>*heh heh heh*
