Yo~. I'm sorry I couldn't update before.
Geeze Louise, I was abnormally busy. Somehow I was always
under pressure for time, and it was really hard.
I was so busy I wasn't even buying sneakers (I got the NIKE
aqua sock, but they don't have AIR, and so my innermost
being does not count them as a pair)
But I was able to take some time off since sometime yesterday.
And thus was my game ban lifted, and thus did I even have
some extra time, and so about this time I uneventfully passed
Silent Hill one (laughs)
The graphics aren't clean, and so I thought it wouldn't
be too scary, but somehow or other it was, and I couldn't
play it at night (laughs)
Ever since I went to see the movie, I've been going on a
bit of a Silent Hill kick.
I've also taken a liking to Silent Hill 3, but it looks
kind of scary and I'm wondering whether to get it or not
(laughs)
I think I'll try Metal Gear Solid 3 before that anyway.
Gufufu.
Recently I've been doing the arrangement for a certain band
and composing the music for the girl group, and I ended
up going to double recordings.
As for the band arrangement, the producer ordered me to
add on a synthesizer part, and so there was no instruction
other than that as to the direction the arrangement would
take. You could say I was free to do as I pleased.
But the musicmanship and band's image is [tough], and so
I figured a pop-ish synthesizer would be no good, and tried
adding a pipe organ and strings. It was pretty surprising
(laughs)
As a result, I ended up with an arrangement that seemed
to herald the beginning of Queen of Decadence though.
I quite liked it, but it seemed like the members of the
band weren't too thrilled with it (snert)
And I had to take them out (wry smile) The directly liked
it though.
Well, at least I did my job properly (I think)
And after I had loaded my data I'd made up into the studio
Mac I had a lot of downtime (laughs)
As for the girl group...I think the manager's got a lot
ahead of him (laughs)
And that says it all (wry smile)
Apart from those two abovementioned, one of my songs will
be used in an anime that's being broadcast this year. But
even if you hear it, I doubt there's any way you'd know
it was my song (laughs) It's a typical, bouncy pop song
after all (laughs)
But if one of you were to recognize it, please but the CD,
I beg of you (laughs)
And then [Prominence]; there are a lot of really good songs
(self admiration)
And thankfully the pace of orders is faster than it was
for [The World]. So those who haven't ordered yet, I suggest
you do so quickly.
And as for suggestions, the 3 songs I personally especially
recommend are [IGNITION], {PROMINENCE], and [RAY].
They are immensely cool (more self admiration) Of course
the others are good too though.
Because of that, I want you to hear it soon, but it still
won't be out for a little while longer.
I hope you're looking forward to it.
MC Komiya rules.
8.17 Hora
Congratulations Hora!!!
As for Silent Hill; I LOVE Silent Hill.
I read recently that they think the character is really
suppose to be female,
as per traditional Japanese horror, but that the director
thinks they changed to game to fit foreign tastes.
And so that's why there's a female heroine.
But the first time I saw the movie, I was so afraid of the
Grim Reaper that I refused to go outside at night.
My dad would always come and tell me to take out the trash,
and I'd go
"No. That big thing's gonna chop off my head and the
giant bugs'll eat me and that's not cool,"
and so he'd make my brother do it instead. But I'm so over
that now.
I wrote out a pretty big thing on it and whatnot somewhere
else on the site, for those interested enough to search.
Anyhow, do you remember MC Hammer?
He was funny (but not intentionally).
And it turns out the Japanese comedian Takuyasu Komiya did
a parody of him, releasing one CD, "Please Komiya Hurt
Em",
under the name MC Komiya. It was a highly suave ghetto homey
release, as you can see. (Kommier = Hommier~)
In fact, it was almost as homey as this:
Kinniku
Shoujo Tai!!!! *oh teh luvz*
(the
original here)
And even Michaelquest:
And
that is cool beyond belief
But not quite as homey as Wesley Snipes
in To Wong Foo....
...or Hora in "Killing Culture"...
...or mixi. Mixi makes my head hurt.
*some might remember that particular
Snipes incarnation as Snipes Bear from "Shunsuke and
the Giant Mango",
but that's simply because I did the casting
* if you like weird flash stuff, there's
a Doraemon flashmaker I highly suggest, but he wouldn't
want to be linked so...
