I think I shall abandon the narrow country of Japan and
see the world. In other words, I'm going on a "I'm
gonna go buy lots of sneakers" tour!
At the moment I'm thinking in earnest of going to the US
for my sneaker purchasement. Like around Los Angeles. California!
There are a lot of sneakers I want which are not regularly
sold in Japan, and so I've been thinking it might be best
to go buy them in their motherland.
There are even models you can't get in Japan.
I seriously want to establish a sneaker stocking route from
the US.
Now it's an illness. Curaga!
Other than that, I haven't been to the US yet and I'd like
to (laughs) I wanna eat a hamburger (laughs) I wanna see
the NBA.
And so if there's anyone who has a lot of sneaker knowlege
(NIKE), really please email me (laughs)
I'm in the midst of recruiting sneaker information from
all societies of the world (laughs)
I'm sorry to have made you wait for so long.
[Prominence] starts shipping on Sept, 28th, and I hope those
who ordered it are looking forward to it.
I'm thinking of explaining the songs in a little while.
Tamago tabetara Tamagon!
9.25 Hora (Killer Panther Party)
Hmm...the boy I work with who wears
Air Jordans every day said he gets his online directly from
China, and that's the cheapest way.
And I myself saw one reallllly small store in the New York
Chinatown with some rare-looking Nike's,
but it was reallllly small and probably not something to
come all the way to New York for...
I know the feeling though; NOWHERE in the US do they sell
Buffalo Boots!
I have to go online and hope someone'll sell a new pair
in my size on ebay...
Anyhow, it sounds to me like, aside
from pursuing his sneakers, he
also wants to be a stereotypical American boy for a few
days~
For me growing up, the stereotypical American middle school
boy was hamburgers and basketball *and Puma's*
Sure it's a stereotype, but somehow boys have a tendency
to fit stereotypes anyway I think (^o^),
Actually, come to think of it, I would
have liked to be a normal American child for a day too perhaps.
But you know that one dainty, shy, blonde haired, blue-eyed
little girl who comes to school every day in a frilly pink
dress
and always has one little boy who absolutely adores her
for being so uber-girly it's beyond anything a real girl
would ever be?
That was me XD
And this is long
but scary. I couldn't help putting it up here~
A few weeks ago my mother
called me.
Me: So what's
up with you?
Mom: Nothing really. I'm on an Alien kick. You know, alien,
the movies? I just saw the fourth one.
It's really cool....you know what Alien is, right?
Me: Yeah, you kidding me? Alien's classic! I've only seen
the first one though.
Mom: Really? You have?!!?......oh...well, anyway,I likehow
Sojournie Weaver's character changed, because you know how
she started out as the pretty little 70's girl in her underwear?
Well now, she's got alienish too, and there are, like, these
oh I don't know, these really suggestive scenes with the
aliens and it's so hot and she's really buff, and it's like
you go girl!!!
Then she talked about how she has weekly barbeques on her
appartment balcony.
...and it was one of
those uncomfortable "Hora's my Mom" moments.
When I told my dad he just went, "...she said that?"
and shook his head a little. He's a Star Trek nerd.
I'll never know why they got together, but I think I know
why they're not anymore.
You can tell a lot about people from the TV they watch.
Though mom's not
really like Hora. She met Charles Barkley in the mall and
asked for his autograph,
but it was just so she could give it to someone because
she felt bad for trying to sell her a monkey.
