Emergence of Silence

song: Hora/ lyrics: Kaya

Taste the overflowing droplets from the night
Falling amidst dark grey gears gone silently mad
And with nail laced to the tips with aphrodesiac
Rend the intruding ring, let it fall from your hand

Now in secret the incubation shall begin
In immorality fringed in rose-red

koboreochiru yoru no shizuku o namete
shizuka ni kurui dasu nibiiro haguruma
tsume no ato made biyaku o hitashi
jama na yubiwa o karame otoshite

ima hisoyakani fukashi hajimeru barairo ni fuchidotta haitoku

"We'll fall deeply into the night"
Our tongues melted away
And in my blurred field of vision
The moon illuminated our sorrowful separation.

fukaku yoru e ochite yuku no
shita o tokashite
nijimu shikai "kanashii kyori" o
tsuki ga terashita

As if waking from a dream,
Suddenly the honeymoon came to an end
And our fragile oath burned away
As the breaking twillight turned to dawn

marude yume kara mezarmeru you ni
totsuzen ni mitsugetsu wa owari
moroi chikai o yakitsukushinagara
yuruyaka ni akete yuku yoiyami

"We'll fall deeply into the night"
Our tongues melted away
And in my blurred field of vision
The moon illuminated our sorrowful separation.

fukaku yoru e ochite yuku no
shita o tokashite
nijimu shikai "kanashii kyori" o
tsuki ga terashita

I'll stop the hand that cuts through time
Leaving things forever just like they were
With only a weak scent lingering
On our wet skin

toki o kizamu hari o tomete
zutto kono mama
nureta hada ni
awai kaori dake ga nokotta

This song makes me tearful...

I don't know what it is, exactly about it. Maybe it's the emotion in Kaya's voice, or the lyrics, or my own obsession with time. But whatever it is, I find this song extremely painful to listen to, and beautiful.

Reminds me of Velvet Eden something aweful too.
