song:
Hora/ lyrics: Kaya
Faintly flickering the images below me blur
As the waves swallow their outliines
and they sink far below
While behind my closed eyes
remaining long past memories
One by one, one by one,
spin together and jumble up

awaku
boyakete iku rinkaku wa
nami ni nomare
fukaku shizunde yuku
mabuta no ura de oyogu zansou wa
hitotsu hitotsu
tsumugi awaseru no
|
Now
I finally understand
I cannot live with you as I am
With this ugly, glittering skin that I have
|
|
atashi
no minikuku hikaru
kono hifu wa
anata to ikite wa yukenai
|
So
I'll let them go, fade into the foam
in the morning sun
And in cruelty, so delicately
we'll sink and be drowned
Now part of the sea, my weakened memories bubble on the
sand
I will break the peace, release you from me
And withdraw my outstretched hands
|
|
yutakata
to kiete yuku shiroi asa
zankoku ni taoyaka ni oboremashou
seijaku na omoigoto awa ni naru
nagi o saki anata kara
ude o hanashite
|
I
remember us together
making sandcastles with dirtied hands
If I close my eyes it was true happiness
Now
there's noplace left
for me to be anymore
This song I started just for you, it will decay...

The
caressing wind blew through my damp hair
in a dream I saw
Devoted fingers, a lie in the night,
only dreams they were
All our promises, all of our kisses,
even this voice too
Everything we'd do,
Like I were sea foam,
wish I could forget about you

|

So
I'll let them go, fade into the foam

And in cruelty, so delicately
we'll sink and be drowned
Now part of the sea, my weakened memories bubble on the

Kaya
said this song was written with Anderson's "The Little
Mermaid" in mind. When I was ten I read the original
story and burst into tears, went into some sort of shock,
and developed some sort of mental issue most likely. I'm
not really concerned with that though; mental problems just
happen sometimes.
Like Martha Steward. She happened as well.
With
this song, I was never quite sure if Kaya himself was drowning,
or if he was kneeling by the water picturing his memories
sinking into the ocean and drowning.
There's an interesting quote from one of the manga Kaya
likes, Hagio Moto's "Zankoku na Kami ga Shihai Suru."
I
was bored, read the manga, and liked it something aweful
too.
Marjorie's
the best character. There's a good quote from her and the
main character regarding The Little Mermaid, which I've
included on the side of this box. She's
always teasing him about how they should end up together
and asking if he likes her, but I think she only does it
because she knows he's gay.
