music: Kalm/ lyrics: Kaya

I hear the faint sound of rain from far away

Drowsy warm with light fever
On a sweet and lazy afternoon

The hydrangea suddenly floats behind my eyes
As a wet wind caresses my cheek and passes by

The vow left behind in that pale blue room
Suddenly pushes to my empty chest and turns round

hanbie no yoru ni zawameku kagerou
yozakura honoka ni kaorinabiku
yoiyami ga sotto watashi o tsurete yuku
kioku no hate e to

Our [promise] proved too weak
Our [Eternity] consigned so quietly

I drown in my frail memories that seem just like
the light rain soaking the wettened window pane
In the pale, frozen silence

And cut off my little finger that bound us tight
It was my flooding weakness that crushed you

Your vestage an overlapping fragrance of indigo blue
The hydrangeas begin to blur and run in the rain

furishikiru hanabira ga
harari harari to futari o kakushita

kasuneau kuchibiru kara koboredasu
amai tsumi

kuruoshiku mau usubeni
amayaka ni yogosarete

maboroshi tadabiki kanamiau fuiki
utakata hate naku tokete ku koe

oboetsuki ga naku

Just like they were on that very same day
Hydrangeas like they are on fire

Shivering in the rain
Plucked from the stem
I'll continue to sing forever

So please continue to laugh for me
And promise you'll never forgive what I've done

ano hi to onaji you ni moeru you na ajisai

ame ni fue
oru you ni
zutto utaitsuzukeru wa

dakara douka waratte ite
kesshite atashi o yurusanaide

Oh oops XD
Somehow the color on this ended up being almost exactly like the ones on Kaya's website. It's completely unintentional though.

I don't suppose anyone is interested in the process of how I design the backgrounds for the lyrics and whatnot, but if you are this might be kind of interesting. At first I was thinking "traditional Japanese", and had I done so the page would now look like this:

original design

But after talking to my friend and thinking about it a little more, I realized that what Kaya's doing right now isn't really traditional, and the thought of using that page made me anxious. My friend made this one, but I still thought it was too loud. And hense this one.
