music:
Susuki Kei/ lyrics: Kaya
I remember the night
when the moonbeams waxed full
And flowed gently down
To join with the sound
Of the waves as they churned
Receeding back and forth
They controlled that night
Painted the silvery dark

My
fingers frozen, my hands were apart
As if to say I'd given up

If
these two hands of mine were beautiful and pure
And sinless as the moon as it shined with its white splendour
Then could it somehow be, that you'd have needed me?
That I could be something to you?

I
clung to your "special" words
Believing
them enough
They were so vague but still
Those words were all there was
I'll
let my tears dyed white
Run off in the tide
Along with my saddened pleas
To be taken unattainable
By the frozen sea

The
high winter sky
stretched out far and wide
As my footsteps fade,
washed away by waves
I felt like perhaps
There was something
that lead me to this place
So I would find my way
I came to the end of that journey of mine
And that's where I met you for the first time

The
neverending light will rain down from the moon
To sway the endless waves, and they'll continue to move
So everything will fade out to sea and flow away...
But
the light from the moon
Shone down upon my wet skin
Illuminating it in white

But
even still,
I've never wished
Or thought it best
If the two of us had never met

The
neverending light will rain down from the moon
To sway the endless waves, and they will continue to move
So everything will fade out to sea and flow away...
But
the light from the moon
Just shone weak on my wet cheeks,
White and weak too

This
was first released on Kaya's first album, Glitter.
Please refer to the original
for comments (both Kaya's and my own)
And since I've already said everything I have to say there
I'm going to...
blabber. About my website design process.
I
imagine there are some people who're like
"Yo, dude. What's with the background this time?
It doesn't match at all!"
...well, if you'll notice, Kaya designed the CD Jacket for
Carmilla himself.
He's been getting into that kind of stuff recently ^^
So basically how he wants the CD to look and be is how it
is~
That said, I decided to have some personal fun and go the
more
Victorian route; aka. subdued. The meaning's in the flowers.
Also,
because my camera is all grainy (it sooo is),
I do all of my work by clipping bits from other people's
pictures
and photoshopping/adding lighting. This is what I used this
time:
The
candle
The blood
The necklace
The flowers: 1 2
3
Then
all that's left is the scroll bar and I get bored
and do something hideous. Kinda fun, hm?
It's not copyright infringemen since I've changed the pictures
beyond recognition. It does take a couple hours though -_-
