I just realized the url for this page is biomana, which I think is funny. I guess that's kinda odd because I was the one who named it.
Now some other more interesting random facts about the band:
Mana:
1. In the 99 nails awards, which he um, won something in *cough*, one of the interviewers asked why he didn't speak in public. A woman who I believe was their manager answered for him that "rather than relying on his voice, he wants to concentrate everything in his music and guitar playing. He expresses himself through his guitar." I personally don't think that's why though.
Next they asked if her if he was planning on getting married, since all the other jrockers were at that time. The response: "I don't know what will happen in the future." Then I had a hard time translating this, but I think they asked what kind of person he would be looking for. The manager replied after a bit that "there's a part of his heart that's like a doll's, which has lost interest in humans, so that really is a good question. It would seem that he wouldn't really have that kind of feeling." Mana nodded. Everyone started muttering "ah, sou?" and all that before one asked, "But you can be loved, can't you?" Mana bowed, yes. This was done from listening to the interview and was very hard, so don't hold me to it please.
2. Mana has said that he believes he was a woman in his past life. This not only explains his preference for dresses, but also suggests that he is partually Buddhist.
3. He has three younger siblings [not sure if that included him as well]...wonder
what they're like. My brother's a little mixed up and that's because I
obsess over Mana *my poor bo-ya* . To imagine what would happen if I actually
were him...
(bo-ya literally means "son" or "bellboy" in japanese
but I ignore that)
4. His parents do not really agree with his choice of clothing but they have not disowned him. They like music, his father being a music teacher and all, but they're always asking him if he really has to wear dresses all the time.
Gackt facts:
1. Since he doesn't seem to care anymore, Gackt graduated from Moriyama high school in 1992, which would mean he was born in 1974. That picture that's been floating around the internet is of him as well. If for some reason it offends you that I wrote this let me know and I'll take it down, but I found this out from a Japanese tv program so all of Japan already knows.
2. Kyoko Fukada was not all that obnoxious when she went on the Domoto Brothers show and met Gackt (she has a crush on him, for those who don't know. She "likes the prince type"). But she did say she liked him, and at some point in the show Noisy ran around in a frightening manner and made fun of her for it...he was the one who screamed "Ga-kunnnnnn", not her. Now I don't particularly care about her either way, but I don't like false rumors soooo...
Yuuki facts:
1. Ack! I wrote something before but I was wrong! Oh, I hate it when things like that happen. gomen, gomen, ignore me!
Kozi facts:
1. Those who have heard "Color me Blood Red" know that it is indecipherable. However, it sounds like he might be saying at one poimt "...ting everything/because it prompts erotic imagination/pressure and cute/violence and beauty, obsession." And that end he says "come kill, kill me right away." Unfortunately that is all I could even try to figure out in it.
