"??????????????????" Name: Dada *rumored to be Yuusuke Gotou* In 1992 Dada number 272 was sent to earth in place of Dada 271, who had been defeated. In 1995 he was forced to make an emergency landing in Tokyo, and lost all memory of his life on the Dada planet upon impact. After that he lived on as an earthling, dabbling in different fields as an artist, garage kit producer, vocalist for bands, drag queen, writer, club hostess, costume designer, and poster girl. However, he has completely forgotten his mission and how he came to end up on earth. *necessary note - "drag queen" in Japan does NOT have the same connotations that it does here... What I say about him... Dada is a human, who most likely grew up in some part of the Kansai district of Japan. He moved to Tokyo in 1995 and worked at all of the jobs he mentioned above. This included a brief stint as the vocalist for Pride of Mind. They recorded two songs, "I Want Your All" and "Vision," which later became "Confessions" on the Sad Mask VHS. On the tape he gives his name as "Yuusuke Gotoh" but I have my doubts as to whether that's his actual name or not. At any rate, he goes by "Dada," and so Dada it is. After that he teamed up with Ao as part of Mononoke Unit, and got his real start at the second Chikashitsu event. He was also part of another band before any of this, E-type , and recorded a 4-track tape called "Der Jugenfrei Traum" (The G-rated Dream ~ thanks to Auris for the correction!! I'm a schweinhund who never learned German). Well he does seem to like being "free", aka. no amae aka no real deep, permenant relationships anyhow. Seems. I don't know really though. Aside from band work, Dada worked as a club hostess both before and during his time in Velvet Eden, and as a model for the fetish shop Pink Hazard. As far as drag queens go he's rather well known it seems. He's been on good terms with Vivienne Satou (who he posed with in Mgazette with and got his demo tape drawings from), Margaret, and Onan Spellmermaid. But no, he is not best buddies with Mana. He did get along with Art Marju Duchain really well, esp Nene it's rumored. That's all pretty much unrelated to his role as the lead singer in Velvet Eden though. The band was either formed after Kalm gave him a demo tape of the old band he was in, Kalmia, and Dada liked it, or because Dada and Kalm were friends and decided to start a band. There are discrepencies. For a while the Dada/Kalm duo cosplayed the British punk/goth band Strawberry Switchblade, and one of their earlier fliers has them dressed up in full polka dot SS attire. On the same flier, he described the band as "pornographic imaginative power." Velvet Eden is an underground London fettish event and old, banned French porn book, but Dada says he didn't know about that when he named the band; he just liked the sound of "Velvet Eden." I dunno about that. Velvet Eden itself seems to center around stories that Dada has written, which he said were in turn based on experiences from his own life. The songs tell a strange story of a doll, a dead dude (Madame Tarantula), a prostitute (Alice), and a fortune teller, with other characters scattered here and there. Towards the end they lost their focus though as everyone dies. Lately he hasn't started any new bands, and has been modelling for Arachnophobia and saying it's his brand when it really isn't instead. He also stretches the truth a bit sometimes, hm. Arachnophobia has a lot of polka dots and strange things that can cost as much as $800! The dresses are kinda big though. Methinks they're not all designed for girls. As far as life goes, I guess he's cloistered somewhere avoiding humanity. Working on a manga/doujinshi for a certain major label band.... Well, to wrap this up, most people do not know Dada's age, height, weight, blood type, or anything really because he doesn't seem to have ever mentioned them. That is okay. I did some calculations and decided he is about 65~66 inches tall. He was also born on June 15th, and the rest is inconsequential. As for interests, he likes cosplaying, spiders, old 80's children's programs and music, and funky movies. And maybe, just maybe, musicals. And hot sauce *lol* Dada alien 271 is from Ultraman 39, Ningen Hyouhon 5 & 6. That's where he got his name from. And if it pleased anyone to download "Kamen Rider versus Ultraman" you might learn some interesting things from that too...I honestly think his songs aren't at ALL what people make them out to be.
