In the woods of prudence I sat alone
With decomposed clouds flowing past above me
Entwined by the do of the comforting atmosphere I gasped out
I watched you fall from the spiraled stairs,
and as your blood flowed to me through the air
It was so beautiful and transparent, so clean I had to cry
In my chest a piano's high notes echo from the day
But as the echoes fade, it was then clear that you'd gone away
The clock whirls on, the hand spins on and on
With newfound speed, so fast, how fast it's become
Yesterday on, you're so far, far away and gone…since we've changed
That's where you'll laugh at me from
On the scraps of dreams my unease was drawn
Till a sheep came by and he ate them some
And meanwhile someone with a crazy shape waved me to his side
Though I only asked him to grant me my dreams
Leave me to my sad future, it now seems
He was a charlatain as I thought; he had deceived me
Tomorrow, what will I find if I decide to look?
And then what if I should? I'll stop composing for good
The clock whirls on, the hand spins on and on
With newfound speed, so fast, how fast it's become
Yesterday on, you're so far, far away and gone…since we've changed
That's where you'll laugh at me from
The clock whirls on, the hands spin on and on
With newfound speed, so fast, how fast it's become
Yesterday on, you're so far, far away and gone…since we've changed
And I now….
I wonder how far away you'll go now? to leave me here all alone by myself
And the cold wind felt so good blowing 'gainst my skin, but it's stuck
on my cheek here again
I was the only one who had changed
I was the one…
