Mama ga Boku o Sutete Papa ga Boku o Okashite Hi*
by: Cali Gari (Caligari)

In the park where the sunlight calls to play, the idiots made a family.
Papa, Mama, and me - just like in a picture, rotten up all three.
Playing catchball with clumsy moves…
My darling! What Genius! Such noisy,
Foolish, doting parents are ok,
But do you think they can play ball properly that way?

hizashi ga yobu koen de kazoku o shiteru baka ga iru.
papa, mama, boku no sannin d e ni kaita you ni kusareteru.
tsutanai ugoki da kyacchubo-ru.
tensai! tensai! urusakute, oyabaka na no wa ii desu ga,
yakyuu senshu de mo tsukuru n desu ka?

Mama's face floats into my mind.
"Be strong my boy."
She held me softly close to her,
And while she did, she cried.

mama no kao ga ukande kuru.
[genki de ne.]
mama wa boku o sotto idaita.
nakinagara.

In the park where the sunlight calls to play, the idiots made a family.
Papa, Mama, and me - just like in a picture, rotten up all three.
I ran, I fell, I skinned my knee;
So strong! So strong! They hide my mistake,
Such is the convenience of being an adult.
What a disciplined little puppy they made of me.

hizashi ga yobu koen de kazoku o shiteru baka ga iru.
papa, mama, boku no sannin d e ni kaita you ni kusareteru.
hashitte koronde surimuite, tsuyoi! tsuyoi! to gomakasare,
otona no tsugou de kontoro-ru.
shitsuke ga yoku dekita inu desu ne
.

Papa's face floats in my mind.
"Don't go."
He held me tightly to him,
And while he did, he cried.

papa no kao ga ukande kuru.
[ikanaide.]
papa wa boku o gyutto idaita.
nakinagara.

The day Mama left and Papa raped me, things became clear as the sky.
It was there, as I faced that clear blue, cloudless sky, there where I found my relief.

mama ga boku o sutete papa ga boku o okashita hi wa, subete ga aozora deshita.
kumo hitotsu mienai ano sora no mukou soba ni, itsu ka sukui ga mieta n desu.

I live my life, and I also die,
And I think it should never change, the blue sky,
Just that, that's my only wish,
I wish…………….

boku ga ikite, boku ga shinde,
sore de mo kono aozora ga kawaranakereba ii ne to,
tada, sore dake o boku wa negau,
boku wa negau……….

A little or a lot, people can't help but change.
That's why they long for things with such pain.
In the regrettable strength of the neverchanging sky,
While gazing up at it I cried.

ookare sukunakare hito wa kawaru mono nan desu.
dakara koso hito wa akogareru n desu.
Kuyashii kurai ni kawaranai aozora no tsuyosa ni,
Boku wa nakimashita.

No matter how much the cruel ones may laugh at me,
Well, I believe I'll still be seeing the sky.

donna ni ka hidoi koto ga boku ni waraikaketa toshitemo,
maa, boku wa sora o miteru no deshou.

The day Mama left and Papa raped me,
Aaahh~ have I become worthless, completely………?

mama ga boku o sutete papa ga boku o okashita hi ni,
aa, boku wa dame ni narimashita………?

I live my life, and I also die,
And I think it should never change, the blue sky,
Just that, that's my only wish,

I wish…………….

boku ga ikite, boku ga shinde,
sore de mo kono aozora ga kawaranakereba ii ne to,
tada, sore dake o boku wa negau,

boku wa negau……….

* The Day Mama Abandoned me and Papa Raped Me

* mama's nakinagara = weeping; papa's = howling like an animal O_o

I didn't want you to think Cali Gari was just about deformed children, tuna, and love. They're about other things too, like this thing.
