Perfect Garden

song: Hora/ lyrics: Kaya

Everything in this world's rotten,
everything even my voice
But come with me and together
we will find our own paradise

In this deepening dark and
swirling bad dream
Before you lose your way too
hold on to me

koko wa nani mo ka mo
kurutte iru kara
watashi no koe made
mushimarete yuku

fukaku uzumaku akumu ni
anata ga doku sareru
mae ni

Let's run into the light, go so very far,
towards a place of dispair and dismay
Abandoning everything that has caused us pain
as together we run away

We'll arrive at a place, our own paradise,
where decadence rules up on high
And amidst the sweet smell that enfolds you there,
hold on to me and close your eyes

azayaka ni nigemashou
zetsubou no kanata made
itamu subete o sute sari
anata to nigeru no

dekadansu ga shihai suru
amai rakuen made
musekaeru kaori no naka
me o tojite, daite

Feeling you here beside me is everything
I wish the world would die away,
leaving only you and me

anata igai wa iranai
minna kiete naku nareba ii

Once we're there you will come to forget about
your dark past that was so hard to bear
And alone within our perfect garden we'll
weave a fairytale of forever

haku hodo ni kurai kako mo
itsu ka wasureru wa
futari dake no rakuen de
towa o tsumugimashou

Let's run in to the light, go so very far,
though our bodies may both fall apart
Escaping from the darkness hold close to me
so we'll never be torn apart

We'll arrive at a place, our own paradise,
where decadence rules up on high
And amidst the sweet smell that enfolds you there,
hold on to me and close your eyes

doko made mo nigemashou
kono ashi ga chigirete mo tsuyoku daite ite yami ni hagurenai you ni

dekadansu ga shihai suru
amai rakuen made
musekaeru kaori no naka
me o tojite, daite

I personally see this song as the introduction to Schwarz Stein's world, and as a statement about reality, music, life, love, etc.

Nowadays, especially in Japan, there's an idea that everything is transient. This includes love. So I think this song is appealing to that. It's saying, "reality is horrible, but if you have someone you truly love, nothing else matters." I think Schwarz Stein is escapist; to the band, reality is based on transient happiness that leads to greater losses and loneliness.

In this song, they are asking you to turn away from a cold, judgemental, hypocritical world by losing yourself in their music, and to escape from reality into their world for the space of a dream. It's a place where discrimination and judgement don't exist and love is true and eternal.

It's the kind of world I sometimes feel even their fans cannot see. I almost banned all Japanese IP addresses from my site, but then someone started talking about Doraemon (laughs)

Listening still as a mouse
Without trying to hear a thing
If your gaze turns to the clock
The hand uselessly spins
This is the mazeway of your heart
Amidst the darkened forest skies
Fast is slow, slow is fast
In the pitch black forest Kurai Kurai

And where can this place be found?
Everybody knows
And where can this place be found?
No one has a clue
Never stopping, they always move
These darkened forest skies
Far is near, near is far
In the pitch black forest Kurai Kurai

Far is near, near is far
In the pitch black forest Kurai Kurai
