Kaya Schwarz Stein Diary Translations (various)

03.19.04

I would think you already expect this, but for the people who asked, this time our album will express Schwarz Stein’s “Near Future Digital Decadance” concept.
And with that, I should like to touch upon the lyrics for each song one by one.

Testament

When I heard this, I thought just how much I like Hora’s songs all over again.
There’s a lot of meaning in the fact that this song is first on the album.

Addictive Epicurean

This was written from the same world that our previous song, “New Vogue Children” was set in.
It’s like seeing NVC from a different point of view...I guess.
This expresses the core of Schwarz Stein’s concept.

Profane Gene

An important song from our times as Rudolph Steiner. It has a lot of memories, and it’s one of the songs I really love.
And I’ve extremely happy that we were able to change the sound source. With things as they are now I can say this, but the time from Rudolph Steiner to Schwarz Stein was both personally and publicly very hard for me. I have memories that imbue that, and so this song is full of those kinds of thoughts.

CREEPER

Hora wrote the lyrics for the empty parts, and Kaya wrote the melody.
The poem is an excerpt from my diary.

The alternation Of generations – expire –

This song was made to relate to “the alternation of generations – increase –“ from our previous album. The title is Hora’s.
It is rare, but there are English lyrics this time.
Based on my life experiences, I think I was able to markedly express our concept through the lyrics.

At any rate, this time I shall end here. I’ll continue next time.
