Band History:
Meties -
Shikoku based band with Hime on vocals. They released a demo tape in March 1999, Recur to Mind, for which he wrote the lyrics to the first song, and had a release on the B side of an Omnibus called Gekitsuu no Sora. Activity appears to have been centered in Ehime, but perhaps not.

Isola - Band for which Hime did lyrics and Vocals, they had one 2-track CD release called Egoiste Butterfly (Egoiste Butterfly and [Cruel]) and another demo called Over..... This is the last band Hime was in before he decided to pursue his musical vision with Hora after they met at a Velvet Eden live and subsequently kept correspondence.

Velvet Eden -
Hora started his music career in 2000 as keyboardist for the drag-queen-led indies band Velvet Eden until he left the band to pursue his next project unit with Hime (as Kaya was known back then). He was only with them for the release of one CD, Suteneko, and a demo tape, Kumoonna. Hora himself contributed 3 songs to the band, Karesusuki, Dead Man's Child, and Kumoonna
(I think that's all...). The band had one known TV appearance on J-Beat in which Hora was interviewed about the funky thing on his eye and how he doesn't go outside. For more information on Velvet Eden, please see the Velvet Eden section of this web complex here.

Rudolf Steiner
- For the next couple of years, until 2002, Hora and Hime would carry out activities under the gothic indies unit Rudolf Steiner. Speculations have been made as to the origins of the name, and it is generally agreed that it is a reference to either the occultist or one of the characters from a video game Hora really liked back then. They were centered in Tokyo, and during the time released two demo tapes, Queen of Decadence and Perfect Garden, which would later be used in their work as Another Cell and Schwarz Stein. During those times it appears they were connected to Blam Honey, who appeared as a secret guest at one of their shows. They also appeared with Hisui (lead by ex-Matenrou's Jun) meaning that they were better because Hisui was as old as the dinosaurs and still didn't have any fans besides Hanachan so there :P

Schwarz Stein - As stated in the interview section, Mana was looking for a band to produce and saw a blurb of Rudolf Steiner in one of the jrock magazines. He went to see them a few times, and in the end he would end up producing them after they had changed the band's name to Schwarz Stein and Hime had changed his name to Kaya. They were signed to Midi Nette and after opening for Moi Dix Mois, were finally able to do their own live tour. The band released two full albums, New Vogue Children and Artificial Hallucination, and two singles, Perfect Garden and Current. The band's concept was "near future digital decadence" with Hora as the near future and Kaya as the decadence. On March 29, 2004, they would disband, stating that their musical goals had diverged too much for them to work together anymore. They played a revival live once more that year at the Dix Thing 2004 and then starting their own solo projects, both opening their own personal sites at the beginning of the year. Looking back, Hora's first solo release was shipped March 29, and so it is possible they were still under contract to Midi Nette until then and thus barred from activities up to that point. Translations are in order of release on this site.

Hora Solo - on March 29, 2005, Hora released his self produced first solo album, "Inner Universe" (limit 1000), and then in December "The World" (limit 500). Although IU was sung by the female vocalist 0513, The World was an entirely instrumental concept album. For more detailed explainations, please see the Horasite, AIR HORA OTZ. He is still carrying out his solo work so you may wish to keep an eye on that. All of the diary entries are up too, and so when you get a chance please go here.

Another Cell - In February of 2005 Hora and Kaya announced that they would be working together to release the 1000 copy limited collaboration CD "Another Cell." It contained remixed tracks from IU, Kuro Ageha, and 4 new tracks. Translations on this site.

Kaya Solo - in April Kaya announced his first solo CD, "Kaleido Scope", which he later became "Kaleidoscope." It is a 2 track gothic tech CD and will be sold at his similarly titled "Kaleidoscope" oneman, and can be ordered online. For this release Kaya will not be working with Hora. The live was limited to 400 tickets and sold out the first day. Although Hora chose not to participate, the guests will include Tohru and Kazuno from Moi Dix Mois, who will hopefully serve as back-up dancers, because it would be rather funny if "The Tohru" replaced "Patalliro" as the national drunken salaryman dance.

........nanka ne....if there's anything wrong with this, it's because I'm horrible at this kind of stuff.
