The moth spreads
its poison
Multiplying parasites
Taken by visciousness
Too many ghosts
You have no face,
throw your intellect away
The nonsense of a silly corpse
Does not exist in this place
e x c l u de, Fade away, vanish
You have no face
Your intellect is left behind
Egoist Stained with jealousy
Where is it, your being?
You are fixed by a spell
Were you to embrace this malice,
accept it, that empty dream,
you'd remain within the void
Not even noticing existance,
in the scene of destruction Agasthiya writes
If you don't believe
in your self in the endless void,
The problems of this world are made by your desires.
The moth spreads its poison
Multiplying parasite
Taken by visciousness
Too many ghosts
What have you now but to hone your poison...
The dead are best left to their coffins
To rest quietly in peace
e x c l u de, Fade away, vanish
In your nightmares,
even should you flee
Agasthiya will still laugh like so...
So best embrace him as you sleep
Until you pass away
If you don't believe
in your self in the endless void,
It's a sad world
to hold grace, nihilism*
A destruction scene
with Agasthiya
Note: This can
also be translated as
"it's a sad world when nihilism is held a virtue"
I believe.
It's
an even sadder world when people believe anything else a virtue.
Hmm.
So Agasthiya is an Indian sage who is said to have done some rather great
things.
Please look him up if you are interested, because I'm not sure how he
fits into this song
since he did so many different things that all might make sense in the
context of the song.
Plus he wasn't in Eko Eko Azuraku and I don't really read much into the
Occult,
to which I'm assuming this bears some connection.
Other
than that I suppose there's the obligatory "gosh this reminds me
of a different band's lyrics"...
Honestly, the lyrics to this song do not sit well with me. I agree that
you have to believe in your own self-worth,
but at the same time I would have to say that all there is in this world
is nihilism.
Because to believe in anyone but yourself is to be let down.
So don't believe in anyone or trust anything, and you will be safe.
I think I am worth something. However, I don't consider my life to be
worth anything at all...
