Goals and Decisions for Content:
This
site exists because I have things I can tell you that other people cannot,
whether it be the fault of language, cultural, or experience related boundaries.
It is oddly presented because it's my creative outlet, and because it's
been growing haphazardly over the past 4 years without regard to easy
access. Then I grew up.
Well,
now the site is more easily navigatable, but in case you've not noticed,
most of my sites are still more or less all lacking in certain key elements.
This could include introductions, discographies, biographies, galleries,
histories, or relevant links, along with various other things.
But this is not because I am lazy!! It's because with but a little research,
this information can be found on other sites quiet easily, and has probably
been repeated on various occasions throughout entire webrings to the point
that everybody knows it. If at any point in time the information is lost,
there is always the chance that I will update relevant parts of the site
to include it. An example of this is the biography section of the Velvet
Eden site.
Similarly, there may be some people who are wondering why I don't host
my own translations of Kaya's diary entries, since I'm the one who translates
them. The answer is quite simple; Hime asked me for permission to include
them on her site. As explained above, that makes inclusion into my own
site superfluous.
As
for galleries though, those are a little different. I respect artist's
rights to their images.
The same can be said for original Japanese texts and music samples, which
I will never include for in-print items without explicit band permission.
I have provided relevant site links to the artists when practical, and
nothing is added without their potential knowlege of the contents.
This was done not to show off, but to ensure that the information and
presentation of the site is acceptable for them.
With bands such as Malice Mizer this is not so necessary, but for bands
with a smaller number of fansites I deem it the conscientious thing to
do.
Correct spelling is neither a concern, nor a goal. Sometimes, however,
incorrect spelling is.

I remember well the fateful day that this site
was born....

2002
Back then I was 1.5 times what I am now. Really. I was chubby. Then I
started running and watching what I ate, and people have a tendency to
tell me ask if I'm skipping meals now...which kinda sucks. But....
Over the course of 2 hours on that day I utilized the neighboring residential
male and was taught by him the basics of html, which I then used to make
the Malice Mizer lyrics page. No one did come, and I was grevious.
But I still started adding other little things here and there, such as
write-ups on Malice Mizer, silly stories, etc. At that time my Japanese
was still very weak, a fact which limited me greatly in what I could do
regarding the site. I also had a place for my random thoughts of the day
called "Musings", which was like a blog, but that has long since
been erased.
