Kuro (Little Black Cat)
Mimori Yusa

Beneath a big tree I first met him, a little cat who I named [Kuro]
When I came a little closer to him, he meowed at me as if he could speak
And within his big round eyes I could see sunlit pools

He's a black cat, that's why he's [Kuro]
Somehow or other he came to stay with me at my house for a while
But still he's really half a stray...

Even though he has nothing to say
I understand how he feels anyway

With a fickle gait he walks along as only he knows
Bringing a fresh breeze with him as he comes and goes
That I could meet with you is such a treasure to me
Among the same scenery, even now...

With spiderwebs above your head
You make them tangled as you go out
While I wrote songs you listened with far off eyes

Those days we laughed together
The seasons together we could count
And all those dark nights you waited for me

But now there's no one on the fence post
Just like it's been from that day Kuro aimlessly went out
Softly into the night sky just like now

With a fickle gait he walks along as only he knows
Bringing a fresh breeze with him as he comes and goes
That I could meet with you is such a treasure to me
Among the same scenery, even now...

Always, always, stay with me
Always, always, waching from above...

When I hear this I cry...because I'm stupid. (the cat died)
