Tsuki no Waltz (Waltz of the Moon)
Mio Isayama

On a night with such a pale blue moon
Wonderful things can happen to you
As you wander deep within a forest alone

A rabbit in tuxedo will then come to greet you
Lead you to a table, "Have some wine?" he'll say
And below the umbrella top of a red mushroom
The dance will start to play

And where is the place you can be found?
A lost child in the land of time wandering round
Without even knowing the way to get home
Though I am waiting there, waiting for you

This spirit of mine which cannot sleep
Goes out to search for you, amidst the trees
The prince of the Palace of the Moon, (Chandora Maharu)
Will kneel before me and ask me to waltz

All of the butterflies with eyelashes so long
Will flutter around in their long shiffon gowns
And with the beetles in their rainbow stockings
Do the Arabian dance of the swords

What is it which I desire from here?
Amidst the labyrinth of temptations
It's beyond the fog, masked in milky white
But I know! What I want is a love that's true....

I enfold my freezing tip-toes
In the white wings of a white dove
And the Prince of the Palace of the Moon
Smiles at me with eyes that reminded me of you

"The moon grows big and breaks
On a mysterious boat to the skies
There's nothing that won't ever change
I think that's what he'd say in time."

On a night with such a pale blue moon
Wonderful things can happen to you
I wander deep within a strange forest

On a night with such a pale blue moon
Wonderful things can happen to you
To trust in somebody is to love somebody....

Some day you'll embrace me to that chest of yours
And this dream that I drempt will come true
