In a sleepy little town in Eastern Massachusetts there once were three
stores, all of the name American Video. I worked at two of them.
Now I'll teach you how to make rubber band guns. You will need:
3 pairs cheap wooden chopsticks
6 rubber bands
First break one of the chopsticks in half. Cross the pieces about 1 inch
from their ends so that they form a right angle. Secure them with a rubber
band. It should be rather tight.
Take two whole chopsticks and sandwich your two broken parts between them
and towards the back, rubber band edge farther away and below them. Rubber
band the two ends of the broken chopsticks super tightly to the two whole
chopsticks. They should not move.
Break one more chopstick in half and place the half perpendicular and
about midway between the two whole chopsticks. Rubber band this too, but
allow for it to move a bit back and forth.
Take the last chopstick and place it towards the front and inbetween the
two chopsticks so that its back is touching the tightly rubber banded
half chopstick. Rubber band that tightly in place too. *hint, big skrunchy
rubber bands work best*
Place one end of a rubber band over the tip of the lone whole chopstick
and the other end over the loosely banded chopstick half. Pull the bottom
of the chopstick half towards you and you have a chopstick gun! They have
amazing accuracy and shoot pretty hard. It's very fun, really
