Whirling, scattering, each and every memory

Farewell, farewell, my gentle, naive dreams

maichire maichire maichire omoigoto subete

sayounara sayounara amaku osanai yume

I'm overwhelmed to flower intoxication
By the wafting scent of their peach
And by my wounded sensations perfectly
Stealthily eaten away from me

The whirling petals keep the wake
Petals dyed from my own blood
For corpses of emotions that lie asleep
Beneath the blossoms of the trees

Whirling, scattering, each and every memory

Farewell, farewell, to a past flickering far away

maichire michire michire omoigoto subete

sayounara sayounara tooku yureru kako

A profusion of whirling cherry flowers
I'll scatter them and go my way
A chaos from a hundred cherry flowers
In scarlet, in scarlet they quake

hana o maite atashi wa yuku
sakimidareru hyakka ryouran
akaku akaku midarete

Your familiar voice, my childish dreams
I'll abandon them; nothing shall remain
As from their entwining carnage I break free

And go still farther
Forever far, far away

Whirling, scattering, each and every memory

Farewell, farewell, my gentle, naive dreams

The road I walk is a storm of flowers
To Hades a path of glittering light

A profusion of whirling cherry flowers
I'll scatter them and go my way
A chaos from a hundred cherry flowers
In scarlet, in scarlet they quake

sakimidareru hyakka ryouran

midarete...

The morning of my final goodbye
I'm beckoned forth by a shimmering haze
Formed from the light cutting through
the rift in the clouds

With a preparedness of that of the vertigo itself

Awawawawa....ua...;_;
Those were hard words.

Well, for those who haven't ever read anything on cherry trees, there is an old legend that the pink of the flowers is a tint from the blood of human corpses over which each tree grew. This song takes the concept from Ouka and twists it, with the image being of facing the flowers and memories, going through personal anguish and death, and in the end being reborn to move on and find new love. I kinda think of it like Dante's trip down the Inferno...heh.

Yes, I'm aware the backgrounds for Ouka and Ryouran should probably be switched. They won't be though...(does anyone recognize it a little better now? There's something about the backgrounds....)

Other than that this took a while to translate, for which I do apologize. It's just that I work 75 hours now. And speaking of work, right outside the window and across the roof is the very top of a beautiful cherry tree. The windows won't open and I'm not allowed on the roof says my boss, but I still terribly want to go out there and take pictures.

So I made this
